About
Hi, my name is Junjie Chen. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction at The University of Hong Kong. I obtained my PhD in hydraulic engineering from Tianjin University in 2020, and have been visiting researchers at University of Cambridge, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, etc.
My research covers a broad area in construction informatics and built environment: Building Information Modeling (BIM), Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Intelligent Compaction, and building and infrastructure inspection.
My recent interests focus on two particular areas: (a) smart facility management via technological empowerments, and (b) social robotics and human-robot co-existence.
